Court is held on the first and second

Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM

The second Thursday will be DA Night.

Most traffic cases can be handled through the mail. You or your attorney MUST enter a plea. The appearance date will be in the initial letter sent to you from this office. If you have questions, contact the Court prior to your appearance date.

 

TRAFFIC TICKETS

GUILTY plea - fill out the TOP right-hand side of the ticket. Mail copy to the court.

Upon receipt and the judge's review and a fine notice will be mailed to you. You will have TWO (2) weeks to pay.

 

**NOT GUILTY PLEAS WILL BE HANDLED BY MAIL ONLY**

 

NOT GUILTY plea- fill out the BOTTOM right-hand side of the ticket. Mail copy to the court. Upon receipt the court will mail you instructions for the plea process.

 

THREE (3) weeks are allowed for the process with the District Attorney. The District Attorney's Office will mail you an offer.

 

You may appear in person on the 2nd Thursday of each month to talk face to face with a representative of the District Attorney’s Office.

 

ACCEPT: Sign the offer and mail it to the court. Upon receipt and the judge's review a fine notice will be mailed to you. You have TWO WEEKS (2) to pay

 

REJECT: Mark your rejection. Mail it to the Court. Upon receipt the Court will assign you a trial (bench) date. Contact the Court prior to your Court date.

 

Payment of fine(s) and surcharges(s) may be made by the following means:

Online:  www.paycourtonline.com.

Mail:  money order or cashier's check.

Window:  M-F, 9am-1pm

Drop box:  money order/cashier's check in an envelope (24 hours)

 

IN COURT APPEARANCES

No in person court appearances without prior communication.
